Azoxystrobin (CAS no.: 131860-33-8). 1) Technical and formulations: 95% tech, 25% SC, 50% WDG. 2) Chemical name: methyl (E)-2-{2-[6-(2-cyanophenoxy)pyrimidin-4-yloxy]phenyl}-3-methoxyacrylate. 3) Molecular formula: C22H17N3O5. 4) Appearance: yellow powder. 5) Functions: as a fungicide with protectant, curative, eradicant, translaminar and systemic properties. Inhibits spore germination and mycelial growth, and also shows antisporulant activity. Used for control of the following pathogens: Erysiphe graminis, Puccinia spp., Leptosphaeria nodorum, and Septoria tritici.
