4) Application scope: gibberellin (GA3) belongs to one of five natural plant hormones. It is a growth regulator. It may promote cell division in the growing stage of plants. Thereby it is mainly applied to accelerating maturation, increasing output, breaking dormancy and promoting germination and tiller. GA3 is specially applied to seeds of rice hybridization for higher yield. GA3 is also widely used during production of fruits and vegetables.
