Buprofezin Features: 1) Technical and formulation: 95% technical, 25% WP. 2) Chemical name: 2-tert-butylimino-3-isopropyl-5-phenyl-3,4,5, 6-tetrahydro-2H-1,3,5-thiatriazin-4-one. 3) Specifications (technical, 25% WP): a) Buprofezin (m/m): 95% min., 25% min. b) Suspensibility (m/m): 75% min. c) Fineness (size<=0.004mm): 98% min. d) Wetting time (sec): 90 max. e) PH value: 4-8, 6-10.5. f) Moisture (m/m): 1.0% max., 3.0% max. 4) Physical and chemical properties (technical): a) White crystalline solid. b) MP 104.5-105.5oC; VP 1.25Mpa (25oC); solubility 25oC): 0.9mg/L water; 240g/L acetone; 520g/L chloroform; 80g/L ethanol; 320g/L toluene. c) Stable in acid and alkali. 5) Application: Buprofezin is a selective insecticide with insect growth regulating activity, it can be effectively used on paddy rice, vegetables, soybean, fruits, tea and flowers or ornamental plants for control of Hemiptera such as plant hoppers, whiteflies and scales
