1) Chemical name (CAS): cyano (3-phenoxyphenyl) methyl 4-chloro-α-(1-methylethyl)benzeneacetate. 2) Molecular formula: C25H22ClNO3. 3) Molecular Weight: 419.91. 4) Acute toxicity: a) Fenvalerate technical: moderate toxicity ; b) Oral LD50 on rats: above 451mg/kg ; c) Dermal LD50 on rats: above 5,000mg/kg ; 5) Specification: 92% or 90% min. (technical grade) ; 6) Formulation: 20% EC ; 7) Physical and chemical properties: a) Pure Fenvalerate is yellow and transparent, and slight brown to red brown viscous liquid under 23°C ; b) With solubility of 0.02mg/L in water, 5%min. in dimethyl benzene, methanol and acetone ; c) Stable in acid and slowly decomposed when heated to 150-300°C. 8) Functions: a) Broad spectrum insecticide having stomach contact action ; b) High effective against pests of Lepidoptera (larva), Diptera, and Hemipteron in cotton, vegetables, fruit, forestry and tea trees
