Red is a pigment contains 100g of canthaxanthin per kg. canthaxanthin is stabilized in a matrix of carbohydrates ans gelatin as a dry powder. it is used in animal nutrition in combination with yellow,xanthophylls to enhance the yellow-orange colour of egg yolk and broiler shin. it is also used together with pink(astaxanthin) to color fish flesh
