Products Introduction: Cassia bark is in the form of long,cylindrical pieces, thin, smooth, and of a yellow-brown color, with a fragrant odor, and a warm, sweetish, aromatic and slightly astringent taste. It contains a volatile oil, a slight amount of tannic acid, an acid peculiar to itself, cinnamic acid, mucilage, lignin, etc.There are two main varieties of cinnamon:

Cinnamomum cassia and Cinnamomum zeylanicum in the world.. C. cassia has a stronger taste, is darker, and is the predominate form found in the China.
Cinnamon is chiefly used as an adjunct to other medicines, being seldom prescribed alone, though it is capable of allaying nausea and vomiting, and also relieving flatulence. Combined with chalk and with other astringents, it is well adapted for the treatment of diarrhoea

Recently,scientist find the Cassia Bark can help the lipocyte distinguish from insulin and reaction with it. MHCP is one of the compound in Cassia Bark, it can be tone up the lipocyte to reactive the conjunct enzyme of the insulin and cell, and it can restrict the activity of this enzyme during the above process.
