Urea-Formaldehyde Resin
In recent years, the health and safety concerns for free formaldehyde content in wooden products have become an important issue to consumers. Thus, CHC has developed two new adhesives, UF9000 and UF9600. Both two resins are prepared by reacting urea and formaldehyde via the polycondensation mechanism. By means of advanced synthesis technique, thermosetting UF9000 and UF9600 resins are of extremely low free formaldehyde content.
Characteristics
1.UF9000 and UF9600 with low formaldehyde emission are in accordance to current regulations for low free formaldehyde content.
2.Both urea resins show good storage stability for a long period.
3.The wood products, treated with UF9000 or UF9600, show good water resistance and excellent performance in peelingtests.
4.Optimum hardening rate of our urea adhesives can be achieved by incorporating with CHC hardeners.

1. CNS T2 plywood.
2. Softwood plywood, decorative plywood, and high-strength plywood.
