Department of colorless cubic crystals, luminous. Melting point 1360oC , boiling point is about 2500oC , relative density 3.180, refractive index 1.434. Difficult to dissolve in water, soluble in ammonia, slightly soluble in acid, insoluble in acetone. Nature with fluorite and fluorite form.
