Kanthal molybdenum heating elements - MoSi2

The molybdenum disilicide heating element is composed of cermet of Molibdenum and Silicium (MoSi2), which can withstand oxidation at extremely high temperatures (1800 ). These electric heaters have a high efficiency, due to fast warm-up and cooling phases. Low cost, easy mantainance and respect of a clean environment are also an added pro.

Typical applications include laboratory furnaces, sintering furnaces, testing equipment, industrial production furnaces, glass melting furnaces, industrial furnaces for heat treatment and metal sintering.
