GCL(geosynthetic clay liners/Bentonite waterproof cushion) consists of bentonite particles and the corresponding admixtures, with special technology and equipment, fixing the bentonite particles between two layers of nonwoven to form bentonite waterproof blankets, which has all the characteristics of geotextile materials, as well as excellent waterproof (permeability) performance.
Water-proof mechanism: under water, the bentonite particles will expand to form even colloidal systems, under the effect of two layers of non-woven, the bentonite will expand from disorder to order, and continuous bibulous expansion makes the bentonite layer themselves to achieve close-grained, thus has waterproof function.
