The copper rod / wire heavy drawing machine is used for drawing copperwire to thin copper wire.
The copper rod, supplied by pay-off unit, is drawn in the main drawing machine. After the procedure of constant speed wheel, the copper rod will be annealed and intenerated continuously, and then be taken up by double-plate take-up unit.
The system takes full advantage of annealing drawing machines’ advanced designs both home and abroad. It adopts in-line sliding continuously drawing mode, and the drawing drums are immerged in emulsion liquid when they work. The machine is equipped with lubrication cooling and circulation system.
The line speed will be 25m/s when drawing hard copper rod. It will be 20m/s maximum when annealing unit is driven. And the annealing wheels (upper wheel, under wheel and guiding wheel) run synchronously with drawing drums of main drawing machine.
The system is fully mechanical and electrical integration, PLC programming, and entirely controlled by touch screen. The mechanical and electrical speeds match evenly. It is achievable to change dies fast and change take-up spools pneumatically and automatically without machine halt.
The whole production process is displayed on the human machine interface of color touch screen. It can be checked, adjusted and controlled by human machine conversation. It shows excellent performance on convenient operation, high efficiency , outstanding quality and so on.
