DO Type Catalyst For Removing Oxygen
DO Type of supported catalysts for removing oxygen are mainly used for: (1) in the gas purifying units of production lines of glass work industry by floating method, color TV sets, and electrolytic industry. It can remove the oxygen from industrial electrolytic hydrogen. (2) production of ultrapure nitrogen or high pure nitrogen from ordinary nitrogen. (3) production of "rich gas" ( from coal gas producer by removal of oxygen) as protective gas for production and processing of special kinds of steel. (4) deoxidation of the synthesis gas in chemical industry. The DO Type catalyst contains a low content of noble metal, it has the following advantages: High efficiency of deoxidation and activity in low temperature, better stability ect. 1. the removal of oxygen from electrolytic hydrogen and ordinary nitrogen in glass work industry using floating method and electrolytic industry. DO-20 or DO-25 Type catalyst can be started up at room temperature, gas space velocity:5000-8000 m3/h, residual O2 in effluent 1ppm max. Depth of deoxidation reachs to 0.1ppm (the more high pressure the more efficiency of deoxidation) ; 2. Protective gas atmosphere for production of special kinds of steel: For DO-1 type catalyst, reaction temperature 140 degree; pressure R 0.1mpa; "coal gas"; space velocity: About 3500 m3/h; residual oxygen in effluent 10ppm max Regeneration performance: Poisoned deactivated catalyst can be continually used after regeneration by definite steps. It does not need regeneration for removal of oxygen from ordinary hydrogen and nitrogen. Regeneration period. Depend on the amounts of impurities of raw material gas. |
